SES are contracted to provide labour to carry out maintenance works on the, Northern, Jubilee and Piccadilly Lines.
The Logistics gangs are tasked to give assistance to the Track maintenance gangs and take all Tecroc, Shingle and Sleepers to the track and remove any spoil and old sleepers from site. They also Mobilize and Demobilize the site of tools and materials
Logistics Gang 1 consists of 10 men which include 2 Site Persons in Charge, 6 Skilled Platelayers and 2 PWTEH.
Logistics Gang 2 consists of 7 men which include 1 Site Person in Charge, 5 Skilled Plate layers and 1 Protection Master. This gang also uses a 7.5 tonne tipper.
Both Gangs work 6 days a week and cover Possessions when needed.
The works carried out at various sites by both gangs are mainly Tecroc and Boff delivery and removal but as they consist of Skilled Plate Layers they also fill in when Pushing Rail or Major Stressing occurs.
This is completed each night within 4hrs. All spoil is taken to Waste disposal points locally.
All our London vehicles are operated under the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme as bronze accredited, although we are actively pursuing Silver status. We hold a fully compliant Operators Licence and adhere to the WRRR standards.
